For our client in Den Bosch we are looking for an Interim GL Accountant (zzp'er / freelancer) for 32 - 40 hours per week. Start is as soon as possible and this assignment is expected to last at least 3 months (with a chance of extension).
Wat je gaat doen
For our client in Den Bosch, a well-know computer hardware specialist, we are looking for an Interim GL Accountant for 32 - 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for all the accounting activities of the Dutch (75% of your time) and Swiss (25% of your time) entities. Your duties and responsibilities:
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Maintain sub-ledger accounts (A/R, A/P and FA) by verifying, allocating, posting transaction and reconciling with general ledger
- Process cash receipts/vendor payments and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Cash reconciliation
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Maintain an accurate general ledger, making adjustments and accruals as needed
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform checks of the posting process
- Ensure legal requirements compliance
- Maintain historical records by filing documents
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Point of contact towards 3rd party enquiries
Wie ben jij
- Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial operations
- Proficiency with excel and with bookkeeping software like Oracle (nice to have)
- Honesty and discretion when working with sensitive information
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and cleaning data
- Strong collaborative ability and team-oriented mindset
Wat je krijgt
For this assignment, we are looking for a freelancer / zzp'er and an hourly rate between €70 and €75 including travel expeses applies.
